Frantic and desperate, he jumped up and chased after the man with the box. "Oh, why didn't I just go straight to the ship when I had the map. Now I'll have to chase that thing all over India!"
Laramie's state of mind was frustrated even more by the throngs of people in the streets that were hindering his ability to follow the man with the box. Squinting in the bright summer's sun and weaving his line of sight around the many other pedestrians, Laramie caught a glimpse of the man putting the box of bread onto a flat backed cart that was being pulled by two horses. Into the mash of crowed streets the cart disappeared and Laramie sat down on the curb in utter defeat. "I'll never get that map now!" He thought.
